From a still life setup, The "Empress Doll Tea Party"

The result was so pleasing and the reaction strong, as I completed the first Asian theme art since I was in High School.
Barbara chose such great colors for us and I took some liberties in the way of composition and moving in some different color than what was actually there.
The fabric shimmered, and the glow of the lantern was fun, but the star of the show was the Geisha Doll. As a finishing touch, we thought a fan would be the perfect addition.
